Write On Series: Place/Setting

Are you interested in practicing your prose writing skills and the art of storytelling?

Have you been wanting to perfect your writing skills in a group of other aspiring writers?

In this 4-week series, each week will focus on a different element of prose and story. We will start with a brief discussion, then segue into a series of timed writing exercises that will last between five and fifteen minutes each, followed by a short revision period and fifteen to twenty minutes of sharing.

Participants will learn to think critically about each subject, generate new material, then practice sharing aloud (sharing is encouraged but not required). If you have a story or characters you are already working on and would like to expand, feel free to bring that along.

The only materials you will need are your laptop or something to write on and your imagination!

$15 per session ( drop-in)

$45 for 4-week session  // Athenian members receive 5% off
